Brompton products around the world can only be obtained through authorised dealers, where proper advice, servicing and the opportunity to test ride our bikes before buying, are available.
Dealers should ideally have a good stock of different Bromptons in-store, but the demand for our bikes over recent years has meant that stocks do sell out from time to time. Many buyers will, in any event, wish to configure a bike to their own needs rather than taking a bike that happens to be in stock, and if your dealer cannot configure a bike to your needs using parts he has available (e.g. if you require special gearing, a non-standard colour, etc.), your machine will have to be ordered specially from our factory.
Your dealer will be able to advise you of how long any order will take; all bikes are built by hand in the same way and an order for a unique B-spoke model will take no longer to process than an order for one of our key models.
Such is the demand for Bromptons that if you can’t get one new, then you might consider buying second-hand. Going Going Bike is our official online second-hand market because they check against our database and other bike registers to help you avoid buying some else’s stolen Brompton.
Dealers should carry the most commonly-used parts in-store but if they do not have what you are after, accessories and spares can usually be despatched for next day delivery to your dealer. Search for dealers in the UK or around the world using our dealer locator.
