It is a sad fact of life that Bromptons that have been left 'secured' to street furniture in public areas are as prone to theft as any other quality bicycle.

This form allows you to search our database of bicycles which have been reported to us as stolen, potentially avoiding a situation where the Brompton you buy is later claimed by the rightful owner.

This list is not exhaustive; it offers no guarantee that the Brompton you are buying second-hand is not stolen just because it does not appear here, but it is a start.

In an attempt to limit the possibility of purchasing stolen Bromptons unwittingly, we have teamed up with Going GoingBike, the provider of a secure online platform for the sale of second-hand bikes. Going Going Bike  checks all bikes listed for sale on their website against the Brompton stolen bike database, Bike Register and Bike Shepherd.
